Alexander Allen
Alexander is a part of the Thespian Troupe here at Slidell High. He plans to attend Young Americans College of the Performing Arts and major in Education. Upon graduation from college, Alexander plans on becoming a music teacher and hopes to stay close to his family. When asked why he’s proud to be a Tiger, Alexander responded “Slidell High has been my home for the past 3 years and I’m thankful for all the opportunities I have been given.” His advice to underclassmen is to “stay on top of all your work and don’t forget to participate and have fun.” Slidell High is proud to call Alexander a Tiger!

Collin Aupied
Collin is an active member of the Slidell High School Band, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Beta Club, and Linked Up. Collin has participated in numerous community service activities with these clubs, as well as with Boy Scouts, and he completed his Eagle Scout project in April. Upon graduation Collin plans to attend Louisiana State University and double major in Biochemistry and Music. After attaining his degree, he plans to go to Medical School in order to become a surgeon. Collin is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “Slidell High is diverse, collaborative, and welcoming.” His advice to underclassmen is to “stay on top of any assignments and utilize any opportunity your teacher gives for extra help.” Slidell High is proud to call Collin a Tiger!

Thomas Barrios
Thomas is a member of the Slidell High Band. He is active in the community, volunteering with the local Boy Scouts. Upon graduation, Thomas plans to major in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Orleans. He plans to become an electrical engineer in order to help people. Thomas is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because his “hard work paid off.” His advice to underclassmen is to “do your work!” Slidell High is proud to call Thomas a Tiger!

Harleigh Berns
Harleigh plays for the Slidell High Soccer team and is an active member of Beta Club. She gives back to the community by volunteering for events at her church and for City Council. Upon graduation, Harleigh plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi and major in Microbiology. Upon completion of her degree, she plans to attend Veterinary School. Harleigh is proud to be a Slidell High Tiger because she feels we are like a family here! Her advice to underclassmen is to pay attention and stay organized. Slidell High is proud to call Harleigh a Tiger!

Brennon Bondi
Brennon participates in welding. Upon graduation, he plans to join the United States Coast Guard. Brennon is proud to be a Tiger, and his advice to underclassmen is to “sleep at home!” Slidell High is proud to call Brennon a Tiger!

Jolie Boyd
Jolie is an active member Beta Club and Interact Club, both of which she has performed community service with. Upon graduation, she plans to attend Mississippi State and major in either Criminology or Zoology. Jolie is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because she’s “gained a lot of positive knowledge and experience since coming to Slidell High.” Her advice to underclassmen is to “focus on schoolwork and retake the ACT multiple times.” Slidell High is proud to call Jolie a Tiger!

Arianna Boyer
Arianna is a member of the Varsity Volleyball team, National Honor Society, and Linked Up. Upon graduation, Arianna plans to attend Southern University and major in Nursing. Her goal is to become a certified CRNA. Arianna is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because our school “is the best school around; everyone at Slidell High is supportive, and we always strive for excellence.” Her advice to underclassmen is to “keep up with your assignments, stay organized, and ALWAYS ask questions.” Slidell High is proud to call Arianna a Tiger!

Hailey Brinson
Hailey is a member of the SHS Tiger Teammates Club and the Cheerleading team. She attends football games, volleyball games, basketball games. She also attends school dances. Hailey is active around Slidell High, taking care of the SHS recycle cans, ink cartridges, helping coaches at the volleyball games, and delivering mail in the teacher’s lounge. After graduation, she plans to work at Starc and get training for other job opportunities. Hailey says that SHS is AWESOME! She has lots of friends, great teachers, and she LOVES being a cheerleader. Her advice to underclassmen is to “follow the rules, don’t get in fights, attend football and basketball games, dances, and show your school spirit!” Slidell High is proud to call Hailey a Tiger!

Joseph T. Caldwell
Joseph is a member of the Slidell High Marching Band, Mu Alpha Theta, FFA, Beta Club, National Honor Society, FCA, Linked UP, and Interact. He served as class president both Freshmen and Sophomore year.  He’s also worked with the Robotics Team. Joseph is active both at our school and also in the community. He has tutored fellow students, participated in our school beautification program, helped many teachers paint and work in their classrooms and around school. He’s volunteered helping his neighbors make home repairs and is a current member of the Knights of Columbus. Upon graduation, Joseph plans to major in Biochemistry at Tulane University. After obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree, he hopes to go to Law School. He eventually hopes to set up his own law firm, raise a family, and run for office. Joseph is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “Slidell has made me a full and well-rounded student. Having networked, I believe this is a concept many schools have lost. Slidell High promotes the Renaissance Man.” His advice to underclassmen is “Now is the time! Life will only become harder and more complicated. A baby step now will become a leap and eventually a sprint. So don’t miss out!” Slidell High is proud to call Joseph a Tiger!

Kassandra Canales
Kassandra is a member of the Volleyball team, Soccer team, Interact Club, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, FCA, Foreign Language Club, and Film Club. She often volunteers at PetSmart helping to adopt out animals. Upon graduation, Kassandra plans to major in Pre-med at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, she plans to attend Medical School. She hopes to successful enough to buy a house for her parents, as well as herself. She also hopes to travel the world to developing countries. Kassandra is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “Being a Slidell Tiger is not just a mascot. It represents hard work and honor, and I wouldn’t want it any other way!” Her advice to underclassmen is to “Focus on your education. Don’t get stuck in high school drama that will be irrelevant in a couple of years!”

Carson Canulette
Carson is extremely active at Slidell High! He is Captain of the Slidell High Swim Team, a member of the Tennis Team, President of Interact Club, Treasurer of National Honor Society, a member of Beta Club, and a member Mu Alpha Theta. Carson also serves on the STPSB Superintendent’s Student Advisory Panel. Through his service clubs at SHS, Carson has participated in school wide, community, and international community service. Some of which include raising money for Haiti and packaging meals for those in need at the International Rotary Convention. Carson feels that Slidell High has been a perfect, supportive channel through which he has been able to explore his passions and gain knowledge about the real word. Upon graduation, Carson plans to major in Chemical Engineering at either Emory University or Tulane University. He plans to pursue a Master’s degree or PhD and work to develop alternative energy sources and with photochemistry. Carson says, “You can’t explain with words what it means to be a Slidell Tiger. It’s something that I will always carry with me.” His advice to underclassmen is, “Never think you don’t have a place on a team or in a club. If you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right. Every role is important, no matter how small, so take all the opportunities you can while you still can and watch how that investment can change your future for the better.” Slidell High is proud to call Carson a Tiger!

Rose Carlson
Rose is a member of Interact Club and often volunteers for community service events sponsored by her club. Upon graduation, she plans to major in Graphic Design at Louisiana State University. After obtaining her degree, she hopes to find a job that she can be a passionate about. Rose is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “we have the most school spirit.” Her advice to underclassman is to “ find a balance between your school work and social life.” Slidell High is proud to call Rose a Tiger! 

Hannah Cauley-March
Hannah is a member of the Slidell High Marching Band, Mu Alpha Theta, and National Honor Society. Upon graduation, Hannah plans to major in Environmental Science at Louisiana State University. After obtaining her degree, she hopes to find a career in marine biology. Hannah explains that “Being a Slidell Tiger means that you are part of a family. No other school will give you a family like Slidell High.” Her advice to underclassmen is to “Stay on top of your schoolwork and don’t let drama flood your life. Stay focused on what you are doing and get involved.” Slidell High is proud to call Hannah a Tiger! 

Cade Collier
Cade plans to attend Louisiana State University and major in finance. He hopes to become successful in life. He’s proud to be a Slidell Tiger because he enjoys our sports teams. His advice to underclassmen would be to “don’t have too much fun and do your work!” Slidell High is proud to call Cade a Tiger!

Kaylee Corbett
Kaylee is an active member of Beta Club, Interact, Choir, and the Slidell High Thespian Troupe. Kaylee is active at Slidell High, helping to plan for Saga, as well as active in the community with Beta and Interact. Upon graduation, Kaylee plans to attend Southeastern Louisiana University and major in Psychology. She hopes to help people in need once she earns her degree. Kaylee is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “we are a family at Slidell High; there is a place for everyone.” Her advice to underclassmen is to “get involved in as many things as you can. Don’t be afraid to try new things.” Slidell High is proud to call Kaylee a Tiger!

Gabriel Cutrer
Gabriel is a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. He is active in the community, volunteering for events through NHS. Upon gradation, Gabriel plans to major in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He hopes to be successful in the future. Gabriel is proud to be a Slidell Tiger “because of the family atmosphere.” His advice to underclassmen is to “not blow off freshmen year.” Slidell High is proud to call Gabriel a Tiger!

Brandon Dwyer
Brandon is active around Slidell High, taking care of the SHS recycle cans, ink cartridges, and helping keep the 9th street gardens clean. He would like to take a class on learning to care for animals and would like to work at the PetCo, PetSmart, or a veterinarian office. He enjoys coming to school to see his friends. Brandon’s advice to underclassmen is to “Follow school rules, do your best, and ask lots of questions.” Slidell High is proud to call Brandon a Tiger!

Tyler Flatmann
Tyler is a member of the SHS Tiger Teammates Club and he enjoys going to the SHS dances! Tyler is active around Slidell High, taking care of the SHS recycle cans, ink cartridges, sorting and delivering mail, and helping keep the 9th street gardens clean. He volunteers at the Shywolf Sanctuary in Naples, Florida and feeds the brown pelicans near his home in Slidell. Tyler is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because he enjoys coming to school and being with his friends. He loves his teachers and will miss them. His advice to underclassmen is to “participate in school activities, make new friends, and follow the school rules.” Slidell High is proud to call Tyler a Tiger!

Maxwell Ford
Maxwell is a member of Beta Club and National Honor Society. Upon graduation, Maxwell plans to attend Mississippi State University and majoring in Business. He hopes to become successful in the future. He is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because Slidell is such a great school. His advice to underclassmen would be to “do your work and have school spirit.” Slidell High is proud to call Maxwell a Tiger!

McKenzie Fugate
McKenzie is a member of the Volleyball team, National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Beta Club, and FCA. She is active in the community, volunteering in the nursery of her church. Upon graduation, McKenzie plans to major in Nursing and continue playing volleyball. She plans to become a neonatal nurse after obtaining her degree. McKenzie is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “the teachers and staff truly make this school great and enjoyable by becoming connected.” Her advice to underclassmen is to “stop procrastinating; all the work and the experience will become so much better.” Slidell High is proud to call McKenzie a Tiger!

Cameron Gabriel
Cameron is a member of the Slidell High Marching Tigers, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Beta Club, and Interact Club. She volunteers at Greenbriar Nursing Home. Upon graduation, Cameron plans to attend either Louisiana State University or Tulane University and major in something in the field of Forensics. Cameron enjoys entertaining Slidell High School through participating in drumline activities. Her advice to underclassmen would be “to ask teachers for help with everything, pay attention in class, and keep up with due dates.” Slidell High is proud to call Cameron a Tiger!

Jordan Groh
Jordan is a member of the Soccer team, Tennis team, National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Interact. She has participated in numerous community service opportunities with various organizations from Slidell High. Upon graduation, Jordan plans to major in Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University. She plans to get her PhD and open her own practice. Jordan has a passion for animals and is so excited to work with them and help her future clients. Jordan is proud to be a Tiger because she is “proud to be a part of a community of great people and represent ‘The High School.’” Her advice to underclassmen is to “walk outside, don’t stop in hallways, go to every event you can, and enjoy your time here. It goes by in the blink of an eye!” Slidell High is proud to call Jordan a Tiger!

Tyler Grund
Tyler is a member for the Cross Country team, Track and Field, and FFA. He often volunteers with FFA, giving back to the community any way possible. Upon graduation, Tyler plans to major in Chemical Engineering/Electrical Engineering at Lyon College or the University of St. Mary. He hopes to become a Chemical Engineer. Tyler is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “we are the best school in the parish and we have some amazing teachers.” His advice to underclassmen is not to “slack off your first 2 years. Playing catch up is not fun because you friends will have short day without you.” Slidell High is proud to call Tyler a Tiger!

Emma Guillot
Emma is a member of Beta Club, Interact Club, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, FCA, Foreign Language Club, and Film Club. She volunteers at two different summer camps and occasionally volunteers at PetSmart. Upon graduation, Emma plans to major in Chemistry at Southeastern Louisiana University. She plans to complete two years of her core classes and then moving to Premed to study to be an emergency physician. Emma is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because she loves “the unity between all the students and the spirit that the Slidell Tigers possess.” Her advice to underclassmen is to “join clubs and be social!” Slidell High is proud to call Emma a Tiger!

Briana Hackett
Briana is Captain of the Slidell High Swingerettes, a member of Beta Club, Broadcasting, Mu Alpha Theta, President of National Honor Society, and Vice President of Interact Club. On top of community service activities Briana has participated in with her clubs, she also works at Bayou Woods After Care program, and volunteers at Carolyn Park Feast for Friends and Greenbrier. Upon graduation, Briana plans majoring in Political Science at Tulane University. She wants to become a criminal justice lawyer. Briana is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because our “community is filled with spirit and love. There is no school like Slidell High School!” Her advice to underclassman would be to “stay on top of things! It is so much harder to catch up when you’ve fallen behind.” Slidell High is proud to call Briana a Tiger!

Abby Herdliska
Abby is a member of National Honor Society, Beta Club, Interact, Co-President of FCA, and Mu Alpha Theta. She is also the Softball Team manager and our Tiger mascot! She also plans on joining our Theatre program and the Robotics Team. Abby is active in our community, volunteering for Toys for Tots every Christmas and participating in charity walks sponsored by her various clubs. She enjoys working with her clubs to raise money for various causes and the food pantry. Upon graduation, Abby plans to pursue a Meteorology degree at Mississippi State University. After obtaining her Bachelor’s, she hopes to pursue her Master’s Degree. Abby hopes to move to Tennessee, begin her career, and start a family. She is so excited for what the future holds! Abby is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “the students and teachers at Slidell High are very welcoming. I love to watch my fellow classmates get excited for class competitions and sports events. There are so many organizations to join. Slidell High has a place for everyone!” Her advice to underclassmen is to “always give 110% in everything you do. Working hard or putting in a little extra effort will always pay off in the end. Do not be afraid to experience new things in high school. Slidell High offers so many different clubs and extra-curricular activities!” Slidell High is proud to call Abby a Tiger!

Hailie Homrighausen
Hailie is a member of the Slidell High band. Upon graduation, Hailie plans on majoring in Music Education. She hopes to become a band director upon graduation from college. Hailie is proud to be a Tiger because of “the care that goes into keeping the culture by the students and alumni staff.” Her advice to underclassmen is to “finish every assignment on time.” Slidell High is proud to call Hailie a Tiger!

Makayla Hurt
Makayla is an active member of National Honor Society and Yearbook. She has participated in numerous community service opportunities throughout her time as a member of NHS. Upon graduation, Makayla plans to attend either NYU or Columbia University and majoring in History. After attaining her degree, she plans to study abroad in Paris. Ultimately, she hopes to receive a doctorate in history and become a professor. Makayla is “proud to be a part of this family that is the Class of 2019.” She believes that “our closeness is truly unique.” Her advice to underclassmen is to: “1. Don’t let other students drag you down. 2. Grades are important, don’t procrastinate too much. 3. High school is fun if you allow it to be. Get involved! Have school spirit and the experience is much more enjoyable!” Slidell High is proud to call Makayla a Tiger!

Kamili Keebler
Kamili plans on majoring in Computer Science and Graphic Design upon graduation. She plans to eventually work with computers and hopes to own some cats someday. Kamili is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “Tigers are cool!” Her advice to underclassmen would be to, “Stay diligent, find a system that works for you, and brace yourself.” Slidell High is proud to call Kamili a Tiger!

Kaitlyn Martin
Kaitlyn is a member of Beta Club and a former member of the Slidell High Swim Team. She is active in the community, volunteering at local pet stores and youth sporting events. Upon graduation, Kaitlyn plans to attend Southern Mississippi University and major in Nursing. She plans to become a Registered Nurse. Kaitlyn’s proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “Slidell High has so much school spirit and so many great people!” Her advice to underclassmen is to “study hard, keep your grades up, and enjoy every second of your time here.” Slidell High is proud to call Kaitlyn a Tiger!

Christopher Mathis
Christopher is a member of the Golf team and National Honor Society. Upon graduation, he plans to attend Louisiana State University and major in Business. He plans to open a dispensary after obtaining his degree. Christopher is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “this school has helped me grow as a person” and he is proud to play for our Golf team. His advice to underclassmen would be to “relax and trust yourself.” Slidell High is proud to call Christopher a Tiger! 

Aidan Milford
Aidan is a member of the Slidell High band and jazz band. He has been active in the community, volunteering to help the Boy Scouts. Upon graduation, Aidan plans to attend either the University of Louisiana at Lafayette or Rice University and major in Biochemical Engineering. After completing his degree, he hopes to help design and work with prosthetics and implants in order to achieve a new level of humanity. Aidan is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “of the school’s diversity and willingness to change.” His advice to underclassmen is “don’t be afraid to ask questions and open yourself to be more friendly.” Slidell High is proud to call Aidan a Tiger!

Morell (Moe) Payton
Moe plays the trumpet in the SHS Band. He is involved in school activities such as football games, basketball games, concert performances, and band competitions. Moe is active around Slidell High, taking care of the SHS recycle cans, ink cartridges, helping to clean the football stadium after games, and helping keep the 9th street gardens clean. After graduation, he plans to seek employment at an automobile dealership as an auto detailer. He is also interested in taking culinary classes and one day becoming a chef. Moe enjoys learning at SHS, being with friends, and playing in the band. He also looks forward to Mark events and school activities. Moe has great teachers who always support him and teach him the skills he needs for after high school. His advice to underclassmen is to “participate in school activities, stay focused and don’t be afraid to ask for help, and fun!” Slidell High is proud to call Moe a Tiger!

Alexa Pearl
Alexa is a member of the SHS Tiger Teammates Club and attends all home football games, basketball games, and dances! Alexa is active around Slidell High, taking care of the SHS recycle cans, ink cartridges, and helping keep the 9th street gardens clean. She would like to take a class on learning to care for dogs and cats and would like to work at the animal shelter, PetSmart, or a veterinarian office. Alexa has a lot of school spirit, she enjoys being with her friends, and is thankful to have teachers who are always willing to help her. Her advice to underclassmen would be to “get involved in school activities, stay on top of your school work, and have fun!” Slidell High is proud to call Alexa a Tiger!

Brice Pier
Brice is a member of the NJROTC Color Guard, Drill Team, and Marksmanship Team, as well as being a member of Writing Club and Beta Club. He has performed numerous community services activities through ROTC. Upon graduation, Brice plans to major in Computer Information Sciences at either Tulane University or Louisiana State University. He plans to join the ROTC program at his college, and eventually join the military as an Officer. Brice is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “Being part of a school with such great teachers and intelligent kids makes the Slidell name as a whole proud.” His advice to underclassmen is “Teachers are here to help guide your education. Listen to them and you won’t have any problems.”

Kathryn Simon
Kathryn is an active student at Slidell High, participating in Thespians, National Honor Society, Beta Club, Interact, Mu Alpha Theta, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Outside of school, she is involved in dance and assists in teaching dance classes. Upon graduation, Kathryn plans to attend LA Technical College and double major in Mathematics and Chemistry. Her goal is to become a math professor. Kathryn is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because she has gained friends here that will last a lifetime, and SHS has thoroughly prepared her for the future. Kathryn’s advice to underclassmen is to stay focused and hang out with the right crowd. She says to always reach for your highest potential! Slidell High is proud to call Kathryn a Tiger!

Maegan Smith
Maegan is a member of Beta Club, Choir, and National Society of High School Scholars. She volunteers at the LTWI nursery and the Imani Dance Academy. Upon graduation, Maegan plans to major in Child and Family Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi. She plans to become either a child psychologies or social worker. Maegan is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because she is “proud of how hard my school tries to give its students the best education it can.” Her advice to underclassmen is to “stay focused and try your hardest but also have fun!” Slidell High is proud to call Maegan a Tiger!

Aaliyah Strickland
Aaliyah is a member of the Slidell High Swingerettes, National Honor Society, FCA, Interact, Beta Club, and Mu Alpha Theta. She is an active member in the community, volunteering often. Last year, Aaliyah was a part of Juniors in-service, which is an organization by Junior Auxiliary of Slidell. She also volunteered at Slidell Memorial Hospital last summer. Upon graduation, she plans to attend either Southern University or Xavier University and majoring in either Mechanical Engineering or Biology. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree, Aaliyah plans to get her Master’s degree. She hopes to work in a hospital so she can directly serve her community. Aaliyah is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because she is “proud to represent a school that is filled with tradition and excellence.” Her advice to underclassmen is to “balance your time! Be sure to study, but also participate in school events, such as Mark events!” Slidell High is proud to call Aaliyah a Tiger!

Dalton Thayer
Dalton plans on attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Southeastern Louisiana University, or the University of New Orleans upon graduation. He plans to major in Computer Science. After college, Dalton hopes to become successful in his job and begin a family. He is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because he “loves this school and the people in it.” He says he’s made life-long friends here at Slidell High. Dalton’s advice to underclassmen is to “do your work and do it well!” Slidell High is proud to call Dalton a Tiger!

Clarire Tonry
Claire is an active member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Beta Club, Interact Club, Foreign Language Club, Film Club, FCA, Linked UP, and the SHS Soccer Team. She enjoys volunteering with the Family Promise program at her church, St. Margaret Mary. She also volunteers for numerous community service opportunities through her various clubs at Slidell High. Upon graduation, Claire plans to major in Biology at Louisiana State University. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, she plans to further her education in the medical field. Claire is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “SHS is a family full of faculty who always inspire me to do my best both in my academics and extra-curricular activities.” Her advice to underclassmen is “A student is the most motivated to do their school work when they are happy and enjoying their high school experience, so get involved in clubs, sports, and school events!”

Niana Tyner
Niana is a member of the Slidell High School Marching Tigers, National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Mu Alpha Theta. Upon graduation, Niana plans on pursuing an Engineering Physics and Computer Science degree at Tulane University. She hopes to work at NASA or a technological company as a computer engineer. Niana is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because she “loves being involved in the great activities as they provide fun educational classes.” Her advice to underclassmen is to “be involved and study. Find the balance between the two and have fun!” Slidell High is proud to call Niana a Tiger!

Noah Varnado
Noah is a member of Beta Club, Broadcasting, and the Robotics Team. He is active in the community, often volunteering for events sponsored through Beta Club. Upon graduation, Noah plans to major in Communications at Southeastern Louisiana University. Once earning his college degree, he hopes to start a family. Noah is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “as a Slidell Tiger, I was able to form friendships with others.” His advice to underclassmen is not to “procrastinate and attend extracurricular activities.” Slidell High is proud to call Noah a Tiger!

CJ Waterhouse
Upon graduation, CJ plans to attend Louisiana State University and major in Mathematics After obtaining his degree, he hopes to become successful in his future career. CJ is proud to be a Slidell Tiger because “all students contribute to the school and that’s what makes us all a Tiger.” His advice to underclassmen is to “stay focused and have a goal.” Slidell High is proud to call CJ a Tiger!
