The 2009 Girls and Boys Team each placed second to the defending State Champions, Northshore Panthers.Overall combined team scores placed the SHS Tiger Swimmers a solid second in this highly competitive meet!

Congratulations-2009 Tiger Swimmers

They close out a very difficult and competitive season!

Last year your Swimming Tigers finished the season ranked 22nd overall during state competition. (This season our team goal was to was to compete and finish among the “Top 20” Division 1 teams statewide.) The Swimming Lady Tigers finished an astounding 14th overall and our men finished 17th overall, leading SHS to a final 17th place out of 38 Division 1 schools! NOTE: These kids also set 4 new school records during the State Meet! Way to swim Tigers!

DAVID BOUCHEREAU: 17th place, 100 yd Butterfly, 58.66, Personal Best Time!(Senior)

GABBY FREDERICK: 6th place; 500 yd Freestyle; 5:29.08, Personal Best Time!(Sophomore) 10th place; 200 yd Freestyle, 2:04.11, Personal Best Time! – NEW SCHOOL RECORD!

ABBY NEWCOMB: 9th place, 200 yd IM, 2:23.01, Personal Best Time!(Junior) 9th place, 100 yd Butterfly, 1:03.37, Personal Best Time! – NEW SCHOOL RECORD!

JARED MERIDITH: 3rd place, 100 yd Freestyle, 48.26, Personal Best Time! – NEW SCHOOL RECORD!(Junior) 7th place, 100 yd Backstroke, 55.69, Personal Best Time! – NEW SCHOOL RECORD!
