This course is designed to equip the student with basic concepts, principles, laws and theories of physical science. Students will experience laboratory techniques. The first semester will cover chemistry concepts and the second semester will cover physics concepts.
Physical Science - Honors (3380 A – 3390 B)
Grade 9

This is a college preparatory course designed to prepare students for high school chemistry and physics. The lab-oriented course will equip the student with basic concepts, principles, laws and theories of physical science as well develop analytical and critical thinking skills. The first semester will cover chemistry concepts and the physics semester will cover chemistry concepts.
Environmental Science (3500 A – 3510 B)
Grades 11, 12
1 year
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Physical Science and Biology
This course is designed for students who do not plan to major in the sciences. First semester deals with ecosystems and how they work, population problems, soil and water ecology, and pollution problems. Second semester deals with toxic wastes, air pollution, pest control, natural resources, biota land use and energy.
