GEE 21 EXIT EXAMS
As of the 1988-89 school year, all public high school students are required to take a Graduate Exit Exam/GEE 21. Students will have opportunities to retake any of the parts of the test not passed. Students at Slidell High are not allowed to participate in any part of graduation unless both state requirements—credits and GEE 21 are met. At the tenth grade level, students will take the English and math components of GEE 21. Students must pass both areas to graduate. At the eleventh grade level, students will take the science and social studies tests and must pass at least one of these two.
